My mission with 52-Weeks Strong is to teach Jiu-Jitsu practitioners how to independently practice mobility and strength training to increase their level of physical health now and 20 years from now. 

I owned a performance training facility for athletes for 10 years. The ones that were the most successful at performing and minimizing injuries or the impact of an injury were the ones who took the information I provided them and ran with it. 

This is why I now create courses for people and not programs. 

After these two 6-week courses you will have the tools you need to practice mobility and strength training for life.

Stronger Mobility Training

This course is designed to teach you how to practice mobility, assess your major joints for dysfunction, and rebuild damaged joints. 

We start with mobility training because adding strength on top of limited mobility is a recipe for injury.

Mobility Training Course

- Learn the basic exercises of mobility training based on Functional Range Conditioning. 

- Learn how to assess your mobility.

Strength Training Course

(6-weeks)

- Learn how to increase strength, speed, and endurance using the conjugate method with the exercises you learned from the Mobility Training Course.  

(Minimal equipment required)

- Learn additional ways to add strength (weight lifting) and cardiovascular training, without wasted energy.

- Learn a kettlebell training routine for when life takes you away from the mats.

Hey, fam! I'm Ethan, the face behind 52-Weeks Strong.

Here is some information about my background in mobility and strength training. 

Ethan's Background:

Owner Of HomeGrown

  • I've been studying mobility and strength training for 20 years. 
  • I owned a performance training facility (EPS Athletes) for athletes for 10 years. Training professional, college, high school, and middle school athletes. 
  • Internship in the Strength and Conditioning department at the University of Rhode Island. (I worked exclusively with the football team.)
  • ​Head Strength and Conditioning coach for two local high schools from 2016 to 2019.​
  • Certified in FRC, FRA, ISM, Kinstretch, Strong First Kettlebell Training, Certified Physical Preparation Specialist, NASM CPT/SPS. 

Personal Life. 

  • Happily married to my wife Michelle with three children, Ava, RJ, and Carmello. ​
  • Brown Belt in Jiu-Jitsu.
  • ​Passionate Surfer. 


The truth is, I believe there is a simple approach to training mobility and strength for physical health, and its consistency. It will take you time to learn, but once you understand the tools, you will use these tools for life, guaranteed. 

I say this from not only my experience of watching hundreds of people reach optimal physical health using the material covered in these courses, but also from how I take care of my physical health. Anything I am asking you to do, I do or have done.
